The Senior Tax Analyst will support senior international tax managers and other senior tax department personnel with responsibility for international tax matters.

The responsibilities for this position include working with Tax Services and Sponsored Product Administration groups to:

Candidate will take responsibility for clients offshore sponsored products compliance, including foreign tax compliance
Must maintain and update US tax withholding certifications, identifications and classifications
Will meet Foreign Bank Account Reporting (FBAR) obligations
Assist with Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) implementation
Chosen candidate will work with internal and external administrators to apply for foreign tax reclaims
Candidate s main internal responsibility for various foreign tax filings and audits, including tax obligations in Pakistan, India, Australia and Venezuela
Monitor compliance of offshore fund exemptions rules for investment managers and traders in a variety of jurisdictions around the world
Provide tax analysis for new foreign office openings and market studies
Assist with foreign audits of management company and other tax issues
Supervise service providers in analysis of and compliance with transfer tax (e.g., stamp duty), VAT issues and other indirect tax issues
Manage engagement letters for international tax projects
Assist with analysis of new foreign fund launches

BS in Finance/Accounting
J.D. / LLM not required, but will be considered
