Respected Sir,
My father was employed in Postal Life Insurance (GPO) as Assistant Director (field) was died during job in 1998. I applied for a job in his department after 12 years of his death under 17-A OF THE PUNJAB CIVIL SERVANTS (APPOINTMENT AND CONDITIONS OF SERVICE) RULES, 1974.
But Department rejected my application and explain that Postal Life Insurance lied under Federal Government and their this law is applied after 2006 to on ward. So, my question is this are they right and what method I can use for this job.
