No. PAB/:Legis: V (21)/2004, dated 13-8-2004.–The Balochistan Local Government Bill, 2004 having been passed by the Provincial Assembly of Balochistan on 13th August, 2004 and assented to by the Governor of Balochistan, is hereby published as an Act of the Provincial Assembly.
Preamble.–Whereas, it is expedient further to amend the Balochistan Local Government Ordinance, 2001, in the manner hereinafter appearing;
1. Short title and commencement
(1) This Act may be called the Balochistan Local Government (Amendment) Act, 2004.
(2) It shall come into force at once and shall be deemed to have taken effect on 13th day of April, 2003.
2. Amendment of section 150 of Ordinance, XVIII of 2001
In the Balochistan Local Government Ordinance, 2001, in subsection (4) of section 150 for the word “three” the word “four” shall be substituted.
3. Amendment of section 159 of Ordinance, XVIII of 2001
In the said Ordinance in subsection (1) of section 159 for the word “three the word “four” shall be substituted.
