ORDINANCE XXXIV OF 2001
An Ordinance further to amend the Balochistan Finance Act, 1965

No.Legis.2-42/Law/79/IV, dated 20-10-2001.—-The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 15th October, 2001, is hereby published for general information:–
Preamble.–-Whereas it- is expedient further to amend the Balochistan Finance Act, 1965 for the purpose hereinafter appearing;
And whereas the Governor of Balochistan is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of Article 4 of the Provisional Constitution (Amendment) Order, 1999 (Chief Executive’s Order No.9 of 1999) and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the Governor of Balochistan is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance:-
1. Short title and commencement
(1) This Ordinance may be called the Balochistan Finance (Amendment) Ordinance, 2001.
(2) It shall come into force at once
2. Amendment of section 5 of W.P. Act I of 1965
In the Balochistan Finance Act, 1965, in section 5, for the table of rate of tax or cinemas, the following shall be substituted:-
| (i) Class-I Cinema Rs.1,500 per annum
(ii) Class-II Cinema Rs.500 per annum (iii) Class-III, Cinema Rs.150 per annum |
