No.Legis.2-42/Law/79/IV, dated 20?10?2001.—-The following Ordinance made by the Governor of Balochistan on 15th October, 2001, is hereby published for general information:??
Preamble.??Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Balochistan Entertainments Duty Act., 1958, for the purpose hereinafter appearing;
And whereas the Governor of Balochistan is satisfied that circumstances exist which render it necessary to take immediate action;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of Article 4 of the Provisional Constitution (Amendment) Order, 1999 (Chief Executive’s Order No.9 of 1999) and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the Governor of Balochistan is pleased to make and promulgate the following Ordinance: ??
1. Short title and commencement
(1) This Ordinance may be called the Balochistan Entertainments Duty (Amendment) Ordinance, 2001.
(2) It shall come into force at once.
2. Amendment of section 3 of W.P. Act X of .1958
In the Balochistan Entertainments Duty Act, 1958, after the proviso of sub*section (1) of section 3, full stop appearing at the end of Explanation I shall be substituted by a colon and thereafter the following new proviso shall be substituted:??
“Provided that only in case of Cinema Houses where entertainment duty shall be levied and paid at the rate of twenty five per cent. of such payments excluding the amount of the duty.”
