Job Description:
This position is responsible for the Company’s tax compliance, tax planning and accounting for income taxes.
The successful candidate will work with businesses, service providers, and other tax professionals in carrying out his or her responsibilities.
He or she will work with financial management within the Company and third party service providers.
Skills Required:
* Preparation and review of federal and provincial income taxes for individuals, businesses, benefit funds, real estate, and exempt organizations.
* Builds new and existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of client business.
* Prepares internal memoranda, written correspondence/guidance, private letter rulings and other documents for submission to the IRS or Treasury Department.
* Trains staff, reviews and evaluates their work.
* Manages multiple clients, budgets and production goals.
