An Ordinance to authorize payment and appropriation of certain sums in respect of Pakistan Railways from and out of the Federal Consolidated Fund for the service of the period beginning on the first day of July, 1961, and ending on the thirtieth day of June, 1962.
WHEREAS it is expedient to authorize payment and appropria*tion of certain sums in respect of Pakistan railways from and out of the Federal Consolidated Fund for the service of the period beginning on the first day of July, 1961, and ending on the thirtieth day of June, 1962;
NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the Proclamation of the seventh day of October, 1958, and in exercise of all powers enab*ling him in that behalf, the President is pleased to make and pro*mulgate the following Ordinance:-
1. Short title
This Ordinance may be called the Appropriation (Rail*ways) Supplementary Ordinance, 1962.
2. Issue of Rs. 81,79,000 out of the Federal Consolidated Fund for the period beginning on the first day of July, 1961, and ending on the thirtieth day of June, 1962
From and out of the Federal Consolidated Fund there may be paid and applied sums not exceeding those specified in column (3) of the Schedule to this Ordinance, amounting in the aggregate to the sum of rupees eighty one lakhs and seventy nine thousands towards defraying the several charges which will come in course of payment during the period beginning on the first day of July, 1961, and ending on the thirtieth day of June, 1962 in respect of Pakistan Railways for the services and Pur*poses specified in column (2) of the Schedule.
3. Appropriation
The sums authorised to be paid and applied from and out of the Federal Consolidated Fund by this Ordinance shall lie appropriated in respect of Pakistan Railways for the services and purposes expressed in the Schedule in relation to the period specified in section 2.
